Excellent Food - Excellent Customer Service
Great place to grab a bite to eat, whether its just a casual dinner between friends/family, a dinner with your loved one or takeaway to spoil yourself! Food is always fresh and beautiful - and all meals are really well priced (so cheap!) The staff are lovely as well !! This place is real gem!

A great small business, good for a relaxed meal. Hue style beef noodle soup is my absolute favorite! Highly recommended.

Tasty and reasonably priced
I've tried two of the mains and an entree so far and I've found the food to be light, fresh and tasty. The meals were made quickly and the staff were friendly. I've only had takeaway from this restaurant and would suggest that if you are considering eating at the restaurant, that you need to make a booking as it is very small and can't seat many people. I will go back for more as I like Vietnamese food and this restaurant does a good job of it for a good price.

Staff are really friendly and the always use your name when talking to you! Such a refreshing change to service. Fresh food at cheap prices. Great for a quick meal!

My favourite cheap eat is a little Mitchelton Vietnamese place - Avachat Cafe - tucked away just off Blackwood St. It’s run by Jimmy & Vivien who are always friendly and take the time to sit with you and tell you about their food and what is new on the menu (which changes seasonally).
The food is delicious, fresh and tastes are balanced, entrees are under $10 and all the mains (except one) are under $15. And they will give you LOTS of extra chilli if you ask!! My dessert recommendation is the sticky rice with banana centre and coconut cream.
It’s open every night except for Monday, it’s BYO and they do takeaways as well. They also run a loyalty card type program which can get you 10% off your bill.

Definitely our favourite local restaurant! The food is delicious, fresh and tastes are balanced, I love everything on the menu!! The owners, Jimmy & Vivien, are always friendly and take the time to sit with you and tell you about their food and what is new on the menu (which changes seasonally). We come here at least once a week and are never disappointed.
